Yummy Cereal

Cloe's first try at rice cereal. She wasn't too thrilled about it. I could barely get her to eat any of the cereal and the face she made was just so sad...BUT, she tried oatmeal cereal a couple nights later and loved it. She couldn't get enough...she kept taking the spoon from me and shoving it into her mouth trying to get as much as she could.

What a good little eater.

2nd try with oatmeal cereal - as you can tell, she liked this a lot more

Red Bull Air Show

We took a family trip to the Air Show in Las Vegas last weekend. Chris was flying his paramotor for Red Bull. The night before the show we got to roam around and check out all of the different airplanes, trucks, jets, you name it. Zane loved all of the planes - he got to check out the inside of the Red Bull Albatross. He thought it was pretty cool!

Haircut and Pictures

I took the kids to Kiddie Kandids last week to get their pictures taken...what an adventure! First I needed to get Zane a haircut, so we headed to Cookie Cutters. They were great there. Before Zane got in the seat to get his hair cut, he played around on the jungle gym in the store while we waited. He got to sit in a car while they cut his hair (good thing he didn't realize the car was pink). They turned on Thomas the Train for him so he wouldn't notice the scissors at his head. They gave him a balloon and a sucker and blew bubbles in his face. He still cried a little when they used the clippers, but overall he did really good.

Once we got ready to have pictures taken, Zane didn't want to smile. They tried giving him trains and cars and make him laugh but he never really does the "On Demand" thing. Mark and Sue Davis walked by and witnessed the ordeal through the window...laughing...

Needless to say, I was sweating by the time we finished. BUT, mission accomplished, we got some good pictures of them! YEAH!

He's gonna be a soccer player!

Now I know why this kid was always kicking me when he was in my belly!

I have something to say!

This little one is quite a talker - she's already spitting out sentences...
